Summer Residency Programme 2009

Tuesday, 13th of January, 2009

International and UK-based visual artists are invited to apply for a programme of 1 month long visual arts residencies hosted by SSW during August this year.

The aim of the residencies is to allow artists at different career stages to have a month of supported time to focus exclusively on developing their own professional practice.

Artists will receive a fee, free self catering accommodation, access to studios, workshops, foundry and technical assistance. Travel to and from SSW will be covered and hire cars will be available.

Deadline 27th March.

Please note, one of the residencies will have an exhibition outcome, at corsespace, a new artist-run space near SSW. The deadline for this residency is 2nd March. Applicants for this can also apply for the SSW programme. Please ensure that your application clearly states that you wish to apply for both opportunities .
