Anne Bjerge Hansen was the recipient of an SSW Research Residency in 2004, and further support to develop a new film work resulting from the residency during 2005/06. The film will be shown at local village ‘Gala’ days in Aberdeenshire during summer 2006.

‘The film sequence Via Lumsden takes a 70 mile road journey from sea to sea, from Aberdeen to Banff, via Lumsden. Brief vignettes made over a period of eighteen months offer an impression of the landscape and towns that punctuate the route.’
