New installation on Bennachie with Venice Biennale artist Elpida

This morning Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva led a group of volunteer artists to create a large scale temporary artwork/installation on Bennachie hill. Over the next few days Elpida will be working closely with students from Gray’s School of Art, as well as the Forestry Commission Scotland and the Bailies of Bennachie, and the artwork will emerge as a spectacular visual intervention spanning over 0.6 of a hectare, visible from the summit of Mither Tap and Mill Stone. Pollen Analysis Art Science Exhibition

Art Science Exhibition by artist collective ~ in the fields opens at the Sir Duncan Rice Library, University of Aberdeen from Thursday 7 November to Sunday 17 November 2014.
