Through the course participants will also learn:
Basic plaster working and slip casting processes including mixing, timing and mould releasing.
How mould-making and slip casting could be applied to your own practice
We will have a range of dishes, vases or tumblers to cast, however, participants are also welcome to bring an item that will easily release from a mould to cast of their own.
The course costs cover tuition, basic materials, firing and consumables (including dust masks).

Overalls, steel toecap boots and personal protection equipment will be provided and must be worn as directed, at all times. (Please bring your own steel toecap boots, overalls or fine particle masks if owned)
