My work is characterized by its precise implementation in material and concept. Through the concentration of an action or through a repetitive action I put the attention on the process. The process is important to me because that is where thoughts and actions fuse to a final result and relate to a core, which is the material or the concept. I try to create my work in such a way that visualizes a relation between the origin of nature and mathematical systems. In various ways I link time and material into mathematic and natural principles, to create work that is predicted, but through strict implementation takes its possible shape. Sometimes this results in constructions that are just strong enough to hold. In essence, my work is a search for the physical presence of an idea.
