Office & Finance Manager
£20,000 pro rata
28 hours per week over 5 days (9.30am-3.30pm)
Scottish Sculpture Workshop is seeking an Office & Finance Manager to take on the responsibility of running our busy office and reception, whilst working alongside our busy arts development team, offering administrative and accounting support. SSW is currently nearing the completion of a major Capital Development programme - this is an excellent chance to be part of an important period of development and new thinking for this charitable arts organisation.

Artists / Craftspersons Required: For demonstrating and teaching workshops

Volunteer Placements: To assist with on-site studio and workshop refurbishment
From late August 2010, Scottish Sculpture Workshop will be preparing our workshops, studios and on-site premises for our re-opening in mid September. We are currently looking for volunteers who can commit to a full day at SSW, helping with all sorts of tasks, from frame-building to tea-making! This is a great chance to work alongside SSW at this important stage in our development, to meet other artists and like-minded people and to make a difference to a charitable arts organisation. Volunteers will be well fed, and given an SSW T-Shirt to take home.

Please note: We will be undertaking major renovation work to our studio and workshop buildings from October 2009 - August 2010. However we will be able to host foundry residencies during this time, offering all the facilities necessary.
