XC6N5989(1).jpg Laura Ford was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1961.

She was the recipient of an SSW Research Residency in 2004, and further support to develop the ideas resulting from the residency during 2005.

The resulting project, 'Armour Boys'  will be presented as a new installation at The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, in August 2006. www.royalscottishacademy.org

An accompanying catalogue, with essay by Duncan McLaren will be available from mid August, and has been funded by The Henry Moore Foundation.

Armour Boys will tour to The New Art Centre, Roche Court, Salisbury in September 2006.


Laura is represented by Houldsworth gallery and lives and works in London.
