KILLDRUMMY INN OR BUST!!!

What a night was had by myself and the motley SSW res crew tonight... I suggested to CAPtain Kavannagh that we should go to the pub..the Kildrummy micro brewrey number!!! And not been dodgy driving to the pub types we suggested to each other lets just cycle over for a few organic ales!!! FINe!This option then became open to everyone as our tea time companion Giffnock Rossers also fancied some fine ales! Eventually the whole shooting party wanted some ale action@!(well maybe a little persuasion by your humble narrator).. This meant all saddling up under the various bikes and newly purchased SSW mules to get it on to the Kildrummy direction for some light refreshments.... So Zohan...Lawerence...Rosers...The Petschatnikov twins and myself boarded the steel and aluminium steeds and set off for light hop liquidation before sunset with a handful of lighting between us! The group soon made its way to Mossat with me taking the rear with the flashing red seat light and Captain Kavannagh out front...the group soon split with me and the Petschatnikov's slighty behind ..a shame fer the twins.(fair dues).. hadn't been on a bike for over 8 years!!! So there was i really slightly worried about the whole situatiuon with speeding North East yutes going past in suped up GT5's pumping pete tong!!!oh dear!!!! but by some luck or good JU-JU we made it to Kildrummy Inn...But surprise nae rest of the famous 6!!! Also the place was deed and the barman had as much charisma as some microwaved roadkill!!! Anyhoot I thought we should bear it oot and see what happened and also I thought there's no way am into pushing the shakey cycling party any further into the heart o darkness!! Seconds after asking the barman and the only 2 other meal customers if they had seen any cyclists Captain Kavannagh burst in with Zo' and Rozers in tow!! Guiness, 70 shilling and the obligatory half n half was had and discussions about national pride and the Scot Vs. English devide or non-devide...but axes were buried and we all decided we're all 'Jock tamsons Bairns'!!! It was a quite ethically diverse bunch afterall!! We decided to boost as darkness descended under the barmans emotionless directions to go the honeybarrel road!!! So we saddled up Captain out front..me up the rear!! 6 bikes..6 riders..2 sets of lights...luckily the cross country route was 200 yards from the Inn and we could navigate under the slivery moon!!! Within 20 yards i heard that familiar horrible cuffufle of a flat tyre being rode on the road!!!it was Maria's fifty note argos chopper...the wheel had been ridden for over a mile and was now churning away with Maria curious why she was going nowhere fast....What ensued was lights at midnight trying to change wheels then giving up...chaining steeds to parking signs then Maria going side saddle with me cycling Kerry's mule..then the Captain took the rains to give my calfs a rest...but believe it or not we made it back to base after darkness and pretending we were the 'Goonies'.."hey you guys...BABY RUTH!"...I'm thinking SSW should set scenarios like this up for future rezzers...give the hire car with a slow puncture...a small gas leak on something...some plugs wired wrong..lots of locks no keys??.it makes you work as a team...challenge the stress..work together...solo artists become a group...tranformers form like Voltron...together we can make it!!! Schmocks on...brushes and inflatable laptops in hand!!! Onwards and upwards fine artists!!! REIDIUS
