As artist in residence with Art Gene, Barrow-in-Furness, I found this perfume bottle in the street. It seemed to decribe well the town; often described as the longest cul de sac in the world, riddled with unemployment and toxic industries. In this context, the shiny advertisments of the shopping centre are more crass that ever. I made this poster to counter their false promises.
