Nippy bits.

Holy Cow,
For the first time in ages it is actually warmer in the workshops than it is outside, there is a strange and unaccostomed aura of warmth surrounding you as you enter the unheated buildings. Mind you it was -22 last night according to a Lumsdenite with an interest in the weather making the ambient internal -3 positively tropical.
Been out nocturnal ski-ing, partly to avoid demonstating to people how rubbish I am, and I have decided that it is finally time to upgrade my equipment. The skis are over 20 years old, as are the boots and the poles are not even cross country ones. Every time I encounter deep snow the short downhill poles I use disappear and I end up planting my face on my ski tips. My garb is hardly de-rigeur either, last time I wore my salopettes in public I caused several accidents due to people falling about laughing. My rock climbing boots caused a stir last time out too, they were called "Old School" by some bloke which aint too bad till you remember I was in Poland at the time. Nope, there is nothing for it, as soon as I can get transport I am off to the charity shop, see if I can upgrade a bit.
Guess what, yes the annual burst pipe has been located, Not in the usual places either. I had to climb between the wall and the studding on the stairwell to locate it which was quite an adventure in itself. Like a scene from a prison break movie but without the sewage, I did provide some exciting and tense music however which could have alarmed anyone using the stairs at the time, sadly there was nobody around to hear it.
like in space I suppose.
