Thaw king hell

Crawling around the wall space with the heater to defrost the water pipes proved very successful in locating the four bursts in the SSW plumbing system. To expose them I had to remove so much plasterboard it now looks like Ricky Rogers has done the interior design, that or maybe that scene from Brazil. If you use the Brazil comparison then Brian, a great friend of the workshops and (semi) retired plumber, doesn’t much resemble Robert De Niro although I expect one cleft crack looks much the same as another.

With the slow retreat of the snow, for now, we have the first visitors of the year. Senior Boom Boom is with us again for a three month residency plus two young vibrant Duncan of Jordanstone graduates, Jamie and Jess who are currently filling the wax room with, waxes. Also with us on an ad-hoc basis for the next 5years, (based on the rate of progress made today), is Aussie Anne. Apparently she came over to Scotland 30 years ago met her husband. I’m not sure why she didn’t know he was already here but I am sure to find out in due course.
