Finally! A Happy New Year!
I have finally managed to shrug off various seasonal duties and obligations -
the necessary seasonal visiting of various obscure relatives;
the requisite "good cheer" sessions in various pubs across the festive season;
the obligatory flu bout;
the dutiful dig-yourself-out-of-the-snowbound-house-for-the-third-time;
the walk-the-dog-and-get-soaked-in-the-snow-three-times-a-day sessions;
the mandatory fall-on-the-ice-in-a-public-place
the compulsory jury service (thankfully, not seasonal!);
and now I am ready to get back to work! 183 emails in my inbox this morning - no pressure...
