Arts Development & Administration Internship

SSW is offering a three to four month administration internship, working with the Creative Producer. The position will encompass assisting with programme development and management, as well as archival, administration and general office duties. The internship focuses on individual development, and there will be opportunities to take the initiative with projects and to pursue particular interests, subject to the current programming.

The intern is offered self-catering accommodation and £50/wk stipend, as well as studio space and access to SSW facilities (interns are actively encouraged to continue with their own artistic practice while in residence). Applicants should take in to consideration that this is a rural, residential position when applying. The location is remote and local transport is minimal. As a residential position, the intern will be expected to contribute as a team member in looking after the site, including keeping the premises and utilities clean and tidy.

To apply please send a CV with a cover letter stating relevant experience and reasons for applying. For further information about SSW or the position please contact Emily Wyndham Gray; emily@ssw.org.uk or 01464 861372.

Applications should be sent to office@ssw.org.uk with 'Arts Development Internship' and the applicants name in the subject line.

Deadline: 5pm, Friday January 20, 2012

Placement Commencing: 5 March, 2012
