We are thrilled to announce that SSW has secured Multi-Year Funding from Creative Scotland, ensuring our sustainability over the next three years.
This support recognises SSW’s impactful work both locally, through our vital Communities Programme, and globally through our Artist Residencies. This support enables us to continue expanding the possibilities of what sculpture can be and broaden who is able to make and enjoy it.
We are also delighted to see the inclusion of our colleagues and partners from Scotland Workshops (Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Stills,Highland Print Studio, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Edinburgh Printmakers, Glasgow Print Studio, Peacock Visual Arts and Street Level Photoworks), Counterflows and Cove Park as well as so many new artist-led and rurally based organisations.
We want to thank everyone who has contributed to shaping our plans for 2025 – 28: artists, local community members, partners, Board members, and our dedicated staff. It has been a wild ride!
Special gratitude goes to Creative Scotland for their generous support, and unwavering dedication to developing Scotland’s cultural landscape.
