Update 25/01/2021: In light of the ongoing lockdown in mainland Scotland, our site and ceramics workshop are closed. We hope to open again when Aberdeenshire is in tier 3 of local protection measures.

Our busy and experimental ceramics workshop offers you space, specialist teaching and equipment to support the development of your skills and ceramics practice.

From building and forming, through to firing and glazing, the ceramics workshop welcomes complete beginners through to those with an established practice, with the support of our part-time Ceramics Technician.

The studio is bright and open, equipped with two electric kilns, an electric wheel, plaster and slip casting equipment, alongside comprehensive and experimental glazing resources. There is also a wide range of clays available to buy and use.

We offer a range of services and levels of access to support you to develop your skills. Get involved through our courses, or take up either Regular Practice or Established Practice for weekly access. Our 1:1 sessions give personal and specific teaching to help you learn a skill or develop a specific project. We also offer a firing-only service and a pop-up Clay Shop to support you to work from home or your personal studio. Find out more about how you can join our ceramics community via the menu.
