Art Science Exhibition by artist collective ~ in the fields opens at the Sir Duncan Rice Library, University of Aberdeen from Thursday 7 November to Sunday 17 November 2014.
The exhibition results from a collaboration between ~ in the fields and Dr. Edward Schofield of the School of Geosciences at the University of Aberdeen, exploring the past environment of the iconic Bennachie range through soil sampling and pollen analysis.
The exhibition opens with an Artist Talk at 7pm on Thursday 7th November, in the Ground Floor Event Space in the Sir Duncan Rice Library. The exhibition has been supported by the Library Special Collections and the University of Aberdeen. The Artist Talk is free to attend and open to all.
The work by ~ in the fields and Dr. Schofield has been undertaken over the last six months as one of four international artists participating in the Natural Bennachie project, which is supported by Scottish Natural Heritage and Creative Scotland.
