Ceremonial Mug Making Workshop

Sunday 26 November
2pm – 4pm

Join artist Eva Masterman for an afternoon of clay mug making in the ceramics studio.

Working with Eva you’ll be introduced to a wide range of clay skills, such as slab, coil and pinch building. You will get to design and make your own ceremonial mug (or 2!), and decorate it ready for firing in paper kilns, later in the week.

As well as building your mug you will be able to choose a range of combustible materials to wrap your mug in which will then be packed into paper kilns built later in the week. Feel free to also bring natural materials to add to your firing.
